The Adafruit Infrared IR Remote Receiver is a versatile breakout board designed to receive high-powered IR signals from remote controls. Featuring two selectable IR receiver chips, this board offers flexibility and sensitivity for a wide range of IR remote receiving projects.

5. LED Indicators: Features a green power good LED and a red signal LED, with the red LED blinking to indicate when IR remote signals are being read by the onboard sensors.
6. Mounting Holes and Cable Compatibility: Equipped with mounting holes for easy enclosure and device mounting, and compatible with a 2mm pitch STEMMA JST PH cable for easy wiring without soldering.

Specifically designed for receiving 38KHz IR remote control signals; not suitable for proximity/distance sensing or other frequency signals.
Requires a microcontroller with pulse-input reading capabilities for signal decoding.
Fully assembled and tested PCB, no soldering required; compatible with a 2mm pitch, 3-pin STEMMA JST PH cable for easy wiring.
